Dancy Earns Third Summit League Offensive Player of the Week Honor

ELMHURST, Ill. - Senior striker Jessie Dancy (Park City, Utah) scored her league-leading 12th goal of the season with 17 seconds remaining in regulation to earn Summit League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league office announced on Monday.

Monday's award is Dancy's third of both her career and of the 2017 season. Denver's win Friday propelled the Pioneers to the No. 2 seed in this weekend's Summit League Women's Soccer Championships in Fargo.

The Denver senior enters Championship Week 17th in the country in goals (12) and 37th in the country in points (26).

UP NEXT: Denver will take on third-seeded Oral Roberts in the Summit League Semifinals on Thursday morning. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. CT/10:30 a.m. MT, and the match will be streamed live on the Summit League's website.
