The DU women’s tennis team extended its winning streak to four matches on Saturday afternoon at the Colorado Athletic Club (Monaco), defeating the BYU Cougars by a score of 6-1 to improve to 4-1 on the 2017 season. Denver went 3-0 in doubles play and 5-1 in singles play in laying claim to victory, with the No. 10-ranked tandem of Julia O’Loughlin & Maureen Slattery cruising to a 6-1 win over Team Beckman/Cusick.

Four of DU’s five singles wins came in straight-sets while freshman Claire Koke also emerged victorious from a one-set exhibition match by a score of 8-3. Full results from Saturday’s DU-BYU showdown can be obtained by clicking HERE.
