No. 45 Denver Opens League Play with 7-0 Win over South Dakota

The No. 45 Denver women’s tennis team opened up Summit League play with a convincing 7-0 win over South Dakota on Friday at the Colorado Athletic Club-Monaco in Denver.

The Pioneers took the doubles point following wins from Maureen Slattery and Sonja Radosevic at first doubles, while Bianca Mok and Morgan Barnhill took second doubles. The South Dakota tandem of Yuliya Sidenko and Barbora Kollarova took third doubles to avoid the sweep.

Denver took every singles match as Slattery, Radosevic, Barnhill, Arisha Ladhani and Claire Koke bested the opposition in two sets, while Mok battled back from a 4-1 deficit in the third set to secure a win at 6-1, 3-6, and 6-4. Complete results from Friday’s match are available HERE.
