Denver Sweeps Omaha for 10th Straight Win

The Denver Pioneers (15-4, 3-0) pushed their winning streak to 10 matches with a 7-0 win against the Omaha Mavericks on Friday in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Denver dominated the doubles and singles courts en route to their ninth sweep of the season and fourth-consecutive shutout.

The Pioneers won the doubles point with 6-1 wins from Hada Chang and Anna Riedmiller at No. 2 and Bianca Mok and Camille Verden-Anderson at No. 3.

On the singles courts, Julia O’Loughlin won 6-2, 6-0 at No 1, Mok won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2, Chang won her 12th-straight singles match with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 3, Arisha Ladhani came from behind to win 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4) at No. 4, Verden-Anderson won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 and Riedmiller won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 6.



Denver will continue its stretch of four matches in five days on Saturday, April 14 against Western Illinois. Saturday’s match is set to begin at 11 a.m. MT.
