O’Loughlin Nets Season’s Initial #SummitWTN Player of the Week Award

Junior Pio Julia O’Loughlin Was Named Summit League Player of the Week for the Third Time of her Career on Tuesday

ELMHURST, Ill. – Denver’s Julia O’Loughlin was named Summit League Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance through Jan. 23. The honor marks the initial weekly award of the season.

  • Posted a pair of straight-set wins among her trio of singles victories
  • Defeated Oral Roberts’ Jovana Antonijevic (2 and 3) and Wyoming’s Dorottya Jonas (2 and 1)
  • Earned three-set win over Tulsa’s Rongrong Leenabanchong (6-2, 6-7, 10-4)
  • Scored three doubles victories vs. tandems from ORU (6-2), Wyoming (7-6) and Tulsa (7-5) with playing partner Maureen Slattery
