Pioneers Set For Matches Against Wyoming, Rice

The University of Denver Pioneers (7-4, 0-0) are set to return to the court for an away match against Wyoming on Friday, March 9 and their final home match of the regular season against Rice on Sunday, March 11.

Denver enters the weekend following a pair of sweeps on Feb. 24 against Yale and Feb. 25 against Utah.

The Pioneers are led by No. 47 Julia O’Loughlin (8-1), Bianca Mok (8-1) and Hada Chang (8-2) on the singles courts. O’Loughlin enters the weekend on a five-match winning streak, while Chang enters on a six-match winning streak. O’Loughlin and Mok have combined to lead Denver with a 5-2 record at No. 1 doubles and are ranked No. 21 in the nation.

Friday’s match against Wyoming is set for 2 p.m. MT in Laramie, Wyoming. Saturday’s match against Rice is set for 1 p.m. MT at Colorado Athletic Club - Monaco.
